The authorities are not responding to the discharge of dirty wastewater into the Naryn River. This has been repeatedly stated by local activists and representatives of the State Inspection for Technical and Environmental Safety.

There is an unpleasant smell coming from the treatment facilities. Local residents associate this with the fact that the facilities are simply not being cleaned. "We have already collected signatures and asked to resolve the problem. But there has been no result. Now we are collecting signatures again, but we are not sure there will be any result.

It is noted that the treatment facilities in Tash-Kumyr are in a dangerous condition. Used dirty water is entering old treatment facilities that are unable to process and filter it. As a result, there is a threat of dirty wastewater entering the Naryn River.

The State Environmental Technical Inspection has repeatedly issued orders to address the problem, but the city leadership is not responding. Upon completion of the "Taza Suu" project, local residents will be fully provided with clean water. At that point, the treatment facilities will overflow, and the wastewater will enter the Naryn River.

According to inspectors, they have unsuccessfully appealed to the authorized representative of the government in the Jalal-Abad region with a letter regarding the need to reconstruct the treatment facilities in Tash-Kumyr.

Currently, Tash-Kumyr is facing an unfavorable environmental situation that could lead to irreversible ecological and economic losses.
